Deep-sea discoveries
Scientists say we know less about the habitats and species that live 11 000 metres deep in the ocean than we do about the moon. Some deep-sea animals, like the sperm whale, spend over 90% of their time in the deep, dark waters of the ocean and are rarely, if ever, seen by humans.
